have had a very bad experience with these people. I suggest not to go with Gotobus because they are one business minded people on earth. My reasoning for this is I along with 10 of my folks had booked a package tour from New york covering Philadelphia, Washington, Hersheys choc factory, Niagara. Yes, there were the main tourists spots and that why I booked it. When the tour started and the guide was telling us the itinerary, there was no Hersheys Chocloate Factory trip in the itinerary. When we questioned the tour guide he directed us to their Office people and their idiotic reply was we have signed the terms and conditions and they can change the plan as and when they want. We booked in their travels because lot of people in my group (children) wanted to go to Hersheys. But Gotobus is one junk travels who doesnt organize the trips properly and they are not customer focussed...As said earlier they are business focussed. There are far better travels in US than this Gotobus.

I have done a lot of travelling, and I have to say this has to be the WORST travel tour ever!! This is not intended for non-Chinese people. Tour guide is very rude, not helpful, and can barely speaks English. The worst thing is he forced us to tip him for $6/day/person, when the agreement says 'recommended' $5/day/person. HORRIBLE service! don't be fooled by its cheap price. You have to pay a lot more on top of that. They don't cover meals, admission fees to all of the major sights. This business should not operate at all until they know how to treat their customer right.

I had a very horrible tour To DC from one of the provider from this site. The tour guide was horrendous he was more interested in stopping in Chinese restaurants then showing us different places forget about explaining about historical importance of the places. The whole purpose of guide and the driver was to serve Chinese tourist only. They show us the non translated Chinese movies through out the trip. Many people did not want to eat Chinese and were forced to starve because the purposefully stop at remote places where there was no other food court at all. To reach these places the driver wasted our time (To and fro)which could have been used for site seeing instead. Ultimately we misses baltimore because we were running short of time. Even if People insisted to stop at so many different food chains to take our meal , they refused to do so. I totally felt like I am in a hostage kind of situation.
Don't be fooled by cheap tour prices because you may end up feeling that actually paid for a horrible bus trip rather then a site seeing tour.....
And the funniest thing is the Tip on top of 3rd grade service experience.

I am a graduate student at Penn State. I supposed to travel from State College to New York on Monday, 11/12 2007 at 1AM. I bought my tickets on-line three days in advance (round trip). The bus never showed up. We waited (myself and ten other people) for more than one hour. THEY CANCELED THE SERVICE WITHOUT CONTACTING ANYONE. I had to reschedule my flight from New York with all the inconveniences and additional expenses implied. Since then, I have been calling the company but I couldn�t yet get a refund for the trip even though I was only asking for the BUS refund.
